The 2nd Annual Texas Roadhouse Fundraiser was again a great event. The staff at this restaurant is incredible. They welcomed us and worked hard to make it what it was. The handmade baby blankets were hung throughout the restaurant and were snagged up quickly. Out of 48 blankets, 27 were donated back to send to a child in need. The bake sale was beautiful with a beach theme and everything looked so delicious. The new clothing line to advertise Christy’s Legacy of Hope was a huge hit! Hoodies, sweatpants, long-sleeved T-shirts, tanks, and even a line for the little ones.
A huge thank you to all the volunteers that helped both nights. It was 102 degrees Tuesday but everyone worked to make things beautiful. Also, thank you to everyone that donated baked goods and blankets. So much work goes into each event and it could not be done without all the help that is so graciously received.
Tha Lord is working in every aspect of this organization and without Him it would not be. The promise from the beginning was to never move forward without His guidance and He has proved to be in charge! All praise goes to Him. Please keep Christy’s Legacy of Hope in your prayers that the Lord will always protect it and the children that are being helped through it.
